The Special Program’s Division has three busy programs to assist the citizens of San Juan County. The Pre-Prosecution Diversion Program is designed for non violent offenders that are charged with their first felony in hopes of correcting the behavior and getting them back on the right track. They also have a Worthless Check Program where area merchants work in cooperation with the District Attorney’s Office to recover bad checks.
